History
In 1979 Kenny Rogers and Terry Williams set out to build a premier recording studio to work with artists in Los Angeles. Lion Share was established by Rogers and Williams who were musicians at heart and instantly connected with the vibe and legacy of the facility which was previously known as ABC Dunhill studios. Shortly after opening its doors, Lion Share became established as one of LA’s go-to independently owned recording studios hosting and being a part of some of the greatest records ever made and some of the biggest moments in recording studio history including:
Michael Jackson - We Are the World and Smooth Criminal
Donna Summer - She Works Hard for the Money
Chicago - You’re the inspiration,
Chaka Khan - Through the Fire,
Kenny Rogers - Lady, and so many more!
